The following are some thoughts based on the work of deepening our understanding of our psychology as related to consciousness.
Where there are no quotations they are my own thoughts on the subject. I will be at times using the terminology of the Fourth way.
I have verified to my own satisfaction that it is possible to be more or less connected with the higher in myself throughout the day.
If there is a Creator then when one is remembering oneself in the now then one is connected with that Creator.
The most suppressed knowledge is that there exist methods to enhance our consciousness.
It is perfectly possible, in fact I believe it is actual that we contain radically different characters within, this is the norm. Thus we have contradictory behavior some of the time But by far the most important of these dichotomies is when we wish to be aware with one and are instead consumed by another. Sometimes it is a question of finding ways to introduce these parts to one another.
The primary thing we buffer is our inability to be present NOW.
Time not spent being aware of oneself is wasted time.
Be collected in order to be connected.
Be a moment collector.
Consciousness in its highest form is a silent receptivity and connectedness.
Denying force or the obstacles to achieving anything become lessened once one has done something previously.
Try to hold on to the sublime even when you are involved in the ridiculous.
It is like we take on and off different hats throughout the day.
Many of our buffers are to conceal the dominance of the instinctive limbic system or reptile brain.
